Merrett Loggingβs base camp is in Penola, South Australia. However, we have a broader service area with a depot in Mount Gambler and deliver as far as Β Colac, and Geelong. We work within South Australia and Victoriaβs Β green triangle, which spreads between Portland, Hamilton, Penola and Millicent. If youβre in the area, donβt hesitate to call us for all your forestry harvesting and haulage needs.

Merrett Logging is looking for an experienced heavy vehicle mechanic to join our growing team in the Green Triangle Region.
If youβre a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or have strong experience working on forestry or heavy diesel equipment, we want to hear from you.
π§ ABOUT THE ROLE
Working across our modern forestry fleet, youβll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of industry-leading machines both in the field and workshop.
Key responsibilities include:
β’ Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
β’ Performing preventative maintenance and diagnostics
β’ Supporting operators and working closely with management
β’ Maintaining high safety standards across all tasks

ABOUT YOU
β’ Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar experience
β’ Strong understanding of hydraulics and diesel-powered machinery
β’ Forestry or heavy equipment experience highly regarded
β’ Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment
